Romeo and Juliet
Country you are currently situated in: New Zealand!
Photo of yourself:
Favorite NMTD episode: All Round Great Guy.
Favorite NMTD character: I love everyone but I have to say Dogberry and Verges make me so happy.
Favorite Shakespeare Play: Hamlet the very sad Prince of Denmark.
Favorite web series (outside of NMTD): The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (are you surprised?) and Flat 3 (which is an awesome New Zealand show about three women!)
Any other information you want to tell us about: I draw stuff. Sometimes I draw stuff for the show. Sometimes Elsie draws things too.
How did you find out about Nothing Much to Do? Well…
Favorite band/song/what you’re listening to right now? Bonnie “Prince” Billy aka Will Oldham, particularly his upbeat version of “I see a darkness” and “The Sounds Are Always Begging” also Nick Drake is beautiful.
What are you wearing? Blue jeans, my belt with ducks on it, a purple hoody-long-sleeved-top-thing, and a very sparkly black jersey. And of course my glasses, but that’s part of my face really.
Favorite food? Bacon and banana sandwiches.
Favorite chat-up line? ”She is tolerable; but not handsome enough to tempt me.” Mr Darcy, Pride and Prejudice.
What’s your worst fear? People realising that I don’t actually know what I’m doing. That I just make it up as I go along.
Favorite TV show? Firefly. Also Spaced, The Office and Adventure Time. And obviously Flight of the Concords.
Favorite quote (bonus: favorite quote from NMTD so far)?
"By means of an ingenious series of strategically deployed denials of the most exciting and exotic things, he was able to create the myth that he was a psychic, mystic, telepathic, fey, clairvoyant, psychosassic vampire bat. What did ‘psychosassic’ mean? It was his own word and he vigorously denied that it meant anything at all." Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams.
NMTD BEN: “My country invented your country!” a piece of improv from Jake.
What place would you like to visit? London, The Globe Theatre.
What instrument do you play? I don’t sadly.
What is the last book you read? Mr Justice Raffles, by E.W Hornung.
Do you eat mangoes with or without the skin? Without. Also dried mango is great.
Would you rather fight a hundred duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck? One horse sized duck. That way there wouldn’t be anything sneaking up behind me. I feel I would do better in single combat.
Would you rather be blind or deaf? Deaf. Which probably isn’t a great decision beacuse it would leave me with poor eyesight and worse hearing. But I couldn’t live with out being able to draw so there.
A magician tells you that you can be granted the power of invisibility, but you will never again be able to drink tea. Do you accept the power? I’d have to toss a coin to decide. Tea is great, and having a super power would be awesome but if I could pick one it wouldn’t be invisibility.
The Candle Wasters have mentioned that the flamingo thing was something that started at Jake and Harriett’s audition (although it may not have been an argument at the time). What is your headcanon backstory for the flamingo argument? Ah yes.
link to the video? I haven’t quite wrapped my head around how to follow this show…
Okay so there are three channels.
The main one is Beatrice and Hero. Their videos are here. They have a very…
Jumping off that boat was just part of an elaborate plan to get Bunny to play Doctor. Typical Raffles!
This happened right? Because an all boys boarding school someone would have to play the leading lady and we all know how good Bunny looks in a dress. As for the play well, it’s got to be Shakespeare right? This is E.W Hornung we’re talking about.
